Service Description

Profhilo is an injectable skin booster made with a high concentration of hyaluronic acid. Unlike traditional dermal fillers, it does not add volume. Instead, it deeply hydrates the skin, improves elasticity, and stimulates collagen and elastin production to create a natural, radiant glow. Profhilo is commonly used on the face, neck, and hands to improve skin texture, firmness, and fine lines with minimal downtime. For optimal results, two treatment sessions are usually recommended, spaced approximately four weeks apart. Profhilo Beforecare: Before your Profhilo treatment, please follow these guidelines to help minimise bruising, swelling, and sensitivity: • Avoid alcohol for 24–48 hours before treatment • Avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements (if medically safe), such as aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E, and omega-3, for a few days beforehand • Stay well hydrated and keep your skin moisturised • Avoid heavy sun exposure, tanning, or heat treatments for 24 hours before your appointment • Arrive with clean skin and, if possible, no makeup • Inform your practitioner if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have active skin infections, cold sores, or are feeling unwell • Avoid dental work, vaccinations, or other facial aesthetic treatments close to your appointment date unless advised otherwise Profhilo Aftercare: First 6–24 Hours • Do not touch, rub, or massage the treated areas unless advised by your practitioner • Avoid wearing makeup for at least 12–24 hours • Avoid alcohol for 24 hours, as it may increase bruising and swelling • Avoid strenuous exercise, gym sessions, hot yoga, or activities that raise your body temperature for at least 24–48 hours • Stay upright for a few hours after treatment and avoid sleeping face-down on the first night • Drink plenty of water to support hydration and healing For the Next 48 Hours • Avoid saunas, steam rooms, sunbeds, very hot showers, and excessive sun exposure • Use only gentle skincare products — avoid acids, retinoids, exfoliants, and other strong active ingredients for 2–3 days • Avoid facials, chemical peels, laser treatments, or dental work immediately after treatment.
